I recently stayed at Plovermuir Cottage for a week-long hiking trip. The location was perfect, with stunning views from the large feature window and roof windows. The cottage itself was incredibly spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area, and two bathrooms. The floor heating kept the whole place warm, which was a blessing after a long day of hiking in February. The owner, Ian, was friendly and provided valuable local knowledge. The working farm aspect was a unique touch, and we loved interacting with the dogs and chickens. Plovermuir Cottage is a hidden gem and an ideal base for exploring the Glens and Cairngorms.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I had an amazing time skiing and hiking. The cottage was beautiful and had all the modern amenities I needed. Plus, free WiFi and private parking? Score!
Oh, and who needs towels anyway? It's not like I'm expecting them in my holiday home or anything.

Had a fantastic romantic escape in October, despite the chilly weather. The cottage had underfloor heating, keeping us warm and cozy during our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped for self-catering and there were even a few DVDs provided for entertainment. Plenty of towels and good showers. Convenient car parking and easy access to various tourist attractions. Will definitely consider returning on future visits to Scotland.
Only minor issue was finding a roasting tin with fatty oil left in the oven by previous occupants.
